Happy Halloween!
Its Halloween today...which marks 2 years since my last Halloween party in Sunderland.... and it feels like only yesterday! I guess this would be a good day to start a blog, as I'm constantly reminded of the Halloween of 2004. Why? Because of a scar on my left arm - a remembrance from my dear friend from Hunan, China - Yazhu :)
Introducing Hu Lu, me, Hung Hung, Fang Ming, Yazhu and Gao Wei
I was using the curling iron for her and in the rush, i accidentally burnt myself. (Well, its mostly me who's being clumsy, really...).We partied all night, dance to the music and laughed till our cheeks were numb! Great memories.....especially walking with skirts and quarter pants in October....in Sunderland, UK?!? haha..no kidding! It was freezing....but it felt great! :D

On the dance floor :)

with Scooby Doo, winner for best costume (I got blocked out at the back)
The funny thing was i didn't feel the pain immediately, nor the next 5 hours or so.... and i only remembered that burn when my friend asked if it hurts. I guess then you're having fun, all your pain goes numb! :)
When you're in pain, do not sulk, for it would not do you any better. Do something that makes you smile and forget your pain....at least for awhile. As the saying goes,
"Don't frown because you never know who's falling in love with your smile."
